Music in digital world : People are chasing the shooting star..!

Few days ago, I finally has to gave up my laptop and change into a new one. I was kinda hesitant to chance, since the new one has different brand that imo, less reliable. Plus, it doesn't have CD player..!

I just received CD of 2PM, my fav group, as birthday present. Just like a newly date couple, i would love to hear it everytime. Luckily Ali, my friend who hasn't change the laptop, can rip it convert to MP3.

The quality of course different with CD. its still acceptable though, but those who enjoy when your ear pampered by nice quality audio will longing for a better one.

Some songs from itunes has a decent quality and size, not too big. But the country-limitations is an unbearable obstacle.

I like many singer from JYP, sadly i found very limited and old songs available on my country itunes store. I didnt expect since its one of the three giant (Korean) entertainment company. In curiousity i tried to search another artist from other giants, SM and YG. Surprisingly, i saw the same thing, outdated and limited.

Meanwhile, i got some songs from a mediocre company, even a rookie singer's song is available. Since their songs pretty decent, though i don't really know the singer i click buy. I didn't think much to spend $0.5.

This is power in the market. When something pushing them self towards you with become visible and affordable.

I know some people are so loyal, willing to pay extra effort for Pre-Order CD and pay shipping cost that exceed the CD price itself. Kpop fans are loyal, but are they only loyal to you? The singer, idol, rapper are growing rapidly. Does the fan's ability to purchase also growing in the same pace to buy all the CDs?

Despite of the music quality, and how the artist stands out among the other, the competition are getting tight. Me myself use to have only few favorite group. Since my exposure to kpop is increasing i become a common person nowadays that called 'a multifandom'. 

Previously i didn't mind to buy an exclusive edition CD with twice regular price. But now i rather buy a regular version and buy another one. In other case, i could've gave up on one and prefer the other CD. Why? Because the album relatively expensive, so in some case i had to choose wisely. For comparison, i can have regular lunch with less than $2. Regular album, with shipping cost is around $30-40.

Like it or not, now most of artist has to share consideration with others. And this is where your power in the market will also playing role. Like i said, i ended up buy a song that only 'okay to listen' because my fav one is not available. Its like you finally date someone who always there for you rather than hoping for one that doesn't even recognize you.

I like that i can buy each song, since i dont know and might not liking all songs in a bulk album. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the song from a new singer that i haven't really know since its cheap. Then if i found out this song is good, i would likely buy another from the same singer. Later on if i found out most of the songs are good, n the singer is good looking, and variety show proved the person is charming or fun, i will buy the physical album, even when i already have the digital one. Especially when the physical album also easy to get.

Selling your song one by one is like enable people to buy trial size product. This might increase your penetration. And pushing your availability might reduce the barrier to trial n help to grow your volume. I know someone that buy 3 CD just because its has different cover picture.

I am still willing to buy physical album of my fav group. Cos its usually have a photobook which could be refreshing eye candy. But i think its should transform in a more friendly format, USB DRIVE..!

I think it will be easier nowadays to find a usb driver device than CD player. Most of the new car audio have usb drive. And it's hygiene factor (a-must-have-thing) for laptop.

I know there are issues on copyright, and tax etc when it comes to sell something in digital format which available internationally. But please, country boundaries in digital world is so yesterday..
Aren't your goal also to go international?!

So please, JYP, and other entertainment company - actually it also applicable to other industry - concern to push your availability while also building your image. Making aspirational music that shines like an unreachable distance stars is no longer effective. People are chasing the shooting star.

Conduct a research if you re not sure of this writing. Am ready to help ;p #notspon hehe..

10th Wedding Anniversary : Not such typycal couple..

Right today, 10 years ago I made a huge milestone.

Let me share a lil bit how i ended up marry someone I've been with for a decade.

My bestfriend which also his, setted us up by took his cell phone and text me pretend as him. Cheesy right? Latter on we get along as I found him as a perfect balance creature -funny and concerned to politics and history; good at sport as well as music-

As a befriended with many boys since i was a kid, most likely i can guess boys mind. And i dont like a boys that i can win over easily in an argue. Well i got that boomerang. He was difficult to guessed, not really well in verbalizing feeling (his emotion were angry, or hungry only). And extremely difficult to turned down in an argue.

We're a kind of couple that loves to be around our friends, not merely clinging to each other. When I saw a pretty or sexy girl i tell him. Well its eyes vitamin right. Its not like he will easily approach them.

We both has the same taste in music, but different ways in thinking and act. I was thoughtful, unassertive, repress and sensitive. He was straightforward, practical, and emotional. After we married and has a kid sooner than we plan, these differences become more difficult to overcome.

Should I tell you how hard it was? If yes i had to write a book then. Well just imagine, two very young people raise a family while continue ourcollege years. We also became a partimer in an HR consultant. Hufft it was tough back then.

Somehow, i know its cliche, love make us willing to pay huge effort, move towards another. In marriage i dont see wife should change to adjust with the husband or the other way around. We both have to change to find a middle line of the difference. Now that am more assertive, and we can manage his emotions better we pretty much alike.

What I see from our marriage is he's  not trapped in the stereotype of how a wife should be. Am not good at cooking, he clean the house better than me. Am a carreer women who work passionately.
And so thankful that he doesnt mind with it. Am now spend the weekday 140km away from him, and we meet only on weekend. Its been almost 4 years. I know every man wants to see her wife to at home after work, but he really respect my decision. And i couldn't work properly if hes not giving me secure feeling that i can share the responsibility of raising our son with him.

Well of course i should closely look at them both. Sometimes they're just too laid back. Boys will be boys anyway.

Ten years we've grow up together. Am very thankful, i want him to know that ..uhmm... i love him, in high and low, good time and bad time, with his strength and shortcomings. Thanks.. Lets have another years shall we?

Bonus : my husband not only change in term of maturity, but he aslo has evolution in his appearance (if not called metamorphosis) as the pic comparison below. i hope he wont sue me for published this :p

Don't expect people put their feet in your shoes, it might not fit em..!!

 Okay, let me start with this one sentence, i forgot when and who stated it :

Social media reducing the time to reflect on what we think, yet encourage impulsiveness.

I posted something while ago in my path ac, not in a positive emotion though.
I said i really really hate when people see me as someone who had no personal life because I spent many time in office.
When they said overtime is just my hobby, and i work late because i want to use the office internet a lil more, i couldn't help but hurt.

Am not complaining that i have more job a lot more on my shoulder. I don't mind to run faster. However don't judge me that low. Am a runner not an opportunistic loner.

I have many interest, many hobby. Song to cover, make up to be reviewed, family to taken care. And office internet become slower at night time anyway (more people work in different time zone).

I was pissed off. Then i imagined my self talk with my best friend,someone i grew up with. She probably awake this time, feed her baby, but dont wanna bother her, she needs to rest.

I think about how she would react. How my emotional state would be when i talk to her. Then i calmed down. We used to face a greater problem than this. Used to be the talk of the neighborhood but we don't care. why? Simply because we're happy. We know what we do the best, people may judge wrongly but nothing can forbid them to  do so.
If you're down with what people say, it means a bit of your heart admit that it's true, or, worry that is true. When you worry you don't trust yourself fully. If you worty you'll not empowered yourself at the most you can. Just because what people say, you have a chance to failed. Hell no...

So after i got enlighten i feel ashamed on what i posted before. I want to delete the post, but then i think again.

"Social media, once you post something, most likely it will stay there. Then hey I'll keep my mistakes so i can learn from it anytime i forget"

Another thought come to my mind is..

"People change over time, but how strong the root will determine how much we change. Growing, expanding, or blown by the wind"

I almost change into someone that get hurt easily. Thought of my friend and what we've been through keep my foot on the ground.

"In any difficulty, would be great if we run to something/someone we root for. Your value, religion, family, or friends you grow up with. How precious they are, that even without their physical presence you'll feel it gives you power"

난 자신 있어. 아무것도 할 수있어. 난 사람들이 무슨 말해 아니야.

And the most important, dont expect people to understand, dont ask for emphaty. Not all people willing and able to see your full sides, hear your complete story, to make a proper judgement of yourself.  Its so human, me myself not always able to take other perspective, 'put my feet on other's shoes'
Well, don't expect others will put their feet in ours too. It might not fit them ��

If Selfie Is a Crime I'd Go To Jail

Hi there,,,

You know that selfie nowaday is so hype,,even Obama did this.
In Korea people call it 'Selca', and I personally like selca term.
But since 'selfie' is more popular term here, well,,its okay to follow mainstream sometime,,,  its just a term anyway :p

Previously i thought people see selfie as an exagerated behavior that 'alay' (dont ask me what it is, need one separate post to define alay) do. But now people more open and appreciate this. Dunno, maybe its just my thought ;p

My friend showed me an interesting article about selfie few weeks ago. It said that people like to have selfie because they want to check how do they look in certain expression, do we look like what we think.

Research showed that people are bad in recognize their own expression. What we think we look like, is different with what we actually looked. We thought we show a cute duck face but it seen like a hold-the-toilet-urge face. We think we look shy but people said we look cold. That happens a lot,no?
As long as we're not a model/actor/actress thats okay,,,gwenchanaa...

Anyway,,isnt it supposed to be a make up blog? Yeah, I talked about selfie first because i want to show my selfie with Blue make up theme.

This is me few hours since i got my hair cut, and strangely i love this messy hair. Anyway, can you see the blue eye shadow?

Here's the good news,,you can use blue eyeshadow to office,for sure! Tough i dont recommend to use it to school :p.

The blue eyeshadow, amazingly can make you look sexy, elegant or playful. The key is how you present it along with other make up you put on,and also your hair.

I will show another picture, in the same day that show different impression with this one. Along with what make up I used.
But not now,,gotta meeting tomorow morning,hehe..

(Should be) Everyday look,,

Hi,,,i am procrastinating my assignment now, yet have an urge to post many things.

My first post was about the deep cleansing. In the same day i took a pic with the make up on.

Well, as the title said, it should be my everyday make up. But most of the weekday am too hurry to put em on. 

This was taken in Bandung, at weekend,, so yeah, this is my everyday look,,in Bandung..!

I will start with the first pic in the left. its my face after deep cleansing,,its in the first post,, dont you recognize?

Second are my skincare as follow :

1. Etude Skin Malgeum Fresh --> bought them for Rp 130K (13$), 250 ml. I put it in a trial set bottle. It's a refreshing toner for oily skin from Malgeum series. Malgeum means clean, and i do feel its did a good job in cleansing. Even after washed my face with cleansing foam, there's still a dirt when i wiped the toner

2. Etude Skin Malgeum Emulsion --> the price is about the same with the toner ( i forget the exact). Come in a huge bottle, both toner and emulsion can last for months. I also put it in my trial set bottle. It is a light moisturizer. After put it on your face you'll get a wet feeling,,yup its wet instead of sticky. but it make your next moisturizer glides well upon it.

3. Olay age defying cream --> as i remember its Rp. 50 K (5$) for 75 ml. No longer used this cos my mom took it (because i already bought the skinfood water cream, hehe). But no complaints at all, it moisturize well.

4. Baviphat Apple Lip Balm --> A rich lip balm. I love how it moisturize my dry lip. The texture is rich,, but yeah you have to dip your finger for application. Has a scent of artificial apple, but I don't mind. Unfortunately I lost it :( Boght another lip balm but not as good as this.. Oh, forgot, I bought it in Rp.40 K ($4) when the currency of $ still around Rp. 8 K and KRW is about Rp. 6/Rp. 7

The third pic are my make up :

1. Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright fit in W24 --> Bought this about Rp.140 K ($14). yup its when  the currency was on my side :). This is second darkest shade. This match my skin well, moisturize, though cant cover the spots. The minus is its oxidize, which means after few hours, it makes your skin look darker. Later on, I found a best way to use it is mix with cc cream. I'll review more about that later.

2. ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzing Cream in St. Lucia --> the actual price is $3, but since it is not sold in Indonesia, so I bought it for Rp.60K ($6). Still worth it..! I use blush after BB cream, before the powder.

I like the color, its natural and quite pigmented. i found it last longer than the powder type from the same brand.

3. Etude House BB Compact Bright Fit in W24. Its cost about Rp. 13K ($13). This powder is so soft, and it gives soft and semi-dewy finish at the same time. It makes you face shine but still look natural.

4. Silky Girl Gel Liner --> My 'must there' thing. It gives an intense, long lasting color and waterproof. Gel liner is the most easier to applied in my opinions. Bur you have to clean the brush often with make up remover. The price is Rp 40K (you know the currency when )

5. Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint in OR201. Though the packaging is orange, it actually gives a pink stain in my lip that stays around 4 hours (with meal taken in between). The color seems a bit transparent in first application, but actually it stain well and does not cause my lip dry. My friend has the red one, the color is more obvious and more viscous.

As you see the result is still look natural (for me it is :p),

You might notice that i brought the currency of USD to IDR  few times. It affect me so much since most of them are imported. 

I usually buy in qoo10, Rie Butik and Frapucino Shopping. 

Well guys, its 1.30 AM in insomnia world and luckily I get sleepy.

Shall We Start?

Hi guys,,its 2.30 am here and (still) raining. Am fighting over this sleepiness while waiting the shuttle bus to my lovely hometown Bandung. Been stuck for hours in the office bcos the super heavy-unstopable rain. Strangely altough its rain out there im feeling so hot,no aircon here. My face feel so sticky,,like i want to clean it deeply and rinse with ice water.

Talking about cleaning my face,i really concern about face cleaning routine nowaday. Miss A's Suzy in a korean TV show 'Get It Beauty' revealed that she massage her face while cleaning, and she takes about 20 mins. Then she rinse it with soda. Yes,,soda..! In that show couples episodes later, they shared more about how to do deep cleansing. Its said use a deep cleansing gel/scrub and rinse it with Soda. Yes soda again..but remember,plain soda ya,not coke, not even the diet one :)

I interested to try this tips. So few weeks ago i bought a plain soda water and tried this tips.Well maybe i might lucky to get Suzy's pretty skin.

I used Skinfood Black Sugar Mask wash- off. Got it when my friend went to Korea, it was around $7.5. I was accidentally putted it around my lips and yes it was sweet like sugar! but there's perfume scent also,,yuck, don't try to eat it okay.

I rubbed my skin around 5 mins and leave it for another 15 mins. rub it gently,and if its too rough you can add water or toner.the color of the mask its brown,so when you use it you'll look like a sexy tan and sweet (literally sweet, since its sugar ;p) girl.

After 15 min, i took the soda water out and mix it with water, with the same proportion. Then dipped my face to the water. It felt like you bitten by ants, but yet sooo...fresh!! If you use coke you might really bitten by ants :D

But seriously its like all the dirt deep in your pore were washed away. This mask and soda combination left the face clean and smooth. I can also saw the glowing health skin after that.
